One of the accused of gangster, who got life imprisonment for making a gang and earning financial profit and murder case, has been convicted by the court and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment. The court has also imposed a fine of Rs 5 thousand on the guilty.
Prosecution Officer Sandeep Singh and Special Public Prosecutor Rajesh Sharma, Dinesh Singh Pundir told that the matter is of Police Station Jansath. On June 8, 1997, Rampal’s sons Mintu alias Pravendra and Kallu shot and killed Narendra, brother of Rajpur Kalan police station Jansath, resident of Wadi Kalyan Singh, son of Nahar Singh.
A few days later, Mintu and Kallu, the nephew of Charan Singh, a resident of the same village, who witnessed the massacre, were also shot dead. Inspector Ajay Kumar, then in-charge of police station Jansath, had challaned both these accused under the Gangster Act i.e. Gangster Act.
He told that Mintu alias Pravendra died during the trial. While Kallu was sentenced to life imprisonment in the murder case. But Kallu was out on bail.
After hearing in the Gangster Court on Monday, Special Gangster Act Court Judge Baburam sentenced the accused Kallu to rigorous imprisonment for 5 years and fined Rs 10,000. The accused Kallu was immediately taken into custody by the court and sent to jail.
