Ghaziabad. A court in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad, adjoining the national capital Delhi, has convicted a man, his wife and son for life imprisonment for the murder of a property dealer in Muradnagar’s Mahajan area over a money dispute.
District and Sessions Judge Sunil Prasad also imposed a fine of Rs 20,000 each on the convicted Parashuram, his wife Bina and eldest son Anant. The decision regarding Parashuram’s minor son will be taken later.
According to the case, property dealer Ajay alias Tikam had lent two lakh rupees to his neighbor Parashuram, who did not return the money even after asking for several times. On 12 August 2015, Bina reached the property dealer Tikam’s house and called him out saying that they would pay his money. When Tikam came out, Bina, Anant and their minor son caught hold of him and Parashuram opened fire on him.
Additional District Public Prosecutor Sanjay Tyagi told PTI that Tikam was taken to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. Tikam’s brother Deepak Chaudhary had lodged the FIR.
