The fall in foreign currency assets (FCAs), which constitute a significant portion of the forex reserves, has brought down the total reserves. Foreign currency assets declined by $2.571 billion to $498.645 billion in the reporting week. According to the data, gold reserves have also come down by $271 million to $39.643 billion.
