Governor Anandiben Patel reached Varanasi with the entire family on the occasion of Diwali. She returned back to Lucknow at night after seeing Diwali of 84 Ghats from Sankat Mochan Temple, Shrikashi Vishwanath, Ganga Aarti and Alaknanda Cruise. At the first stop of Kashi Darshan, she reached the Sankat Mochan temple, where she was welcomed by the Mahant of the temple, Prof. Vishambhar Mishra did it by giving a bouquet.

Baba’s aarti performed with family in the sanctum sanctorum
In Shri Kashi Vishwanath temple, the Governor bowed down to the golden peak of Baba and reached the sanctum sanctorum. Here Archak Shrikant Mishra started the Shodashopachara Puja.
