If there is AC in the house or if you are the owner of a four wheeler then you cannot keep the ration card. You have to surrender your ration card immediately.

Moradabad DM Shailendra Kumar Singh has said that FIR will be lodged against those who do not surrender the ration card. The government has fixed the eligibility conditions for cheap food grains. Those people who have 5 acres of land, four wheelers, 2 licenses of arms or have AC in the house, they will not be given cheap ration now.

The government has given orders to withdraw the ration cards of such people by running a campaign. In Moradabad district, Munadi is being made in village-villages and localities regarding this.

DM said- 3000 card surrender happened

District Magistrate Shailendra Kumar Singh said that so far 3000 people have surrendered their ration cards in the district. Everyone else has also been asked to surrender the ration card immediately. The DM said that those who do not fulfill the eligibility conditions will have to surrender their ration cards immediately.

Failure to do so will result in strict action being taken against them. Such card holders will be charged the amount of ration that they have taken on the card. Along with this, an FIR will also be lodged against them.

DM formed teams did

DM Shailendra Kumar Singh has formed teams to investigate the card holders. Along with the supply department, officers of the revenue department have also been engaged in this. The DM said that the teams would soon sort out the number of eligible card holders out of the total ration card holders in the district. After this, cases will be filed against the ineligible card holders who do not surrender the card.
