IIT Kanpur is taking applications for Master of Business Administration (MBA) for the year 2022 – 2023. MBA IIT Kanpur has recently registered 100% placement for the outgoing 2020-22 batch. In which there has been an increase of 22.5% in the average package annually. The MBA program comes under the Department of Industrial and Management Engineering (IME). MBA was first started in 1974. The last date for receipt of complete online applications for MBA program is January 31, 2022. The students of the institute are offered by various foreign companies.

Recruiters such as Accenture Strategy, Morgan Stanley, Barclays, Tiger Analytics, IBM, Wells Fargo, Flipkart, Deloitte, Mastercard, Digit, Ernst & Young, Infosys, Dell and Berger are showing their confidence in the program’s talent pool. Over the last 20 years, the MBA program at IITs has built up a strong alumni network due to early initiatives in management education.

The curriculum is regularly revised and kept updated with the changing needs of the industry. Courses are offered in a variety of domains, including marketing management, finance and economics, human resource management, production and operations management, data analytics and information systems, and policy. In addition, students can choose from research-level courses offered in the department and courses on allied areas of business offered at the institution level. The Capstone Project is a unique student-industry engagement in which students work with organizations to solve real-world business problems under the joint mentorship of industry experts and faculty from IIT Kanpur.
The skills of the students are also enhanced by doing internship.
The MBA program requires students to undertake a summer internship at the end of the first year. Summer internships are offered in a wide range of business settings including private industry, government institutions, start-ups and NGOs. Students set a goal of completing a winter internship after their first semester. The unique combination of courses and real-world project makes IIT different from other management programs.
