While releasing the ticket list, Samajwadi Party has again declared its former MLA Zahid Baig as its candidate from Bhadohi 392 assembly seat of Bhadohi district. The team of Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav is preparing the pitch of politics by choosing and fielding its candidate in the state. History of Zahid Baig
Zahid Baig studied only till 12th standard and after some time became a life insurance agent. His father Yusuf Baig was a labor union leader and was elected MP from Mirzapur Bhadohi parliamentary seat in 1989 on Janata Dal ticket. At the same time, after the formation of the Samajwadi Party in 1993, Mulayam Singh Yadav became the national president and in view of the works of Zahid Baig, who became loyal to the party, made him the district president, after which he became an MLA from the party ticket in 2012, while before that twice from the Aurai assembly seat. Contested the election but had to face a crushing defeat. Although the party played bets on these without altering the BJP Modi wave in 2017, but had to face defeat by a small margin of about 1100 votes.
