Inspection of Korwa Ashram Sargadi: Instructions to suspend the superintendent if there is no good arrangement in the hostel

Collector Kundan Kumar inspected the boys hostel Daura and Pahari Korwa Ashram Sargadi and took stock of other arrangements including cleanliness, bedroom, kitchen. The Collector instructed the hostel superintendent to provide food to the children as per the prescribed menu, clean the hostel premises and plant trees and plants in the premises. The Collector asked the Assistant Commissioner Tribal Development to put a lattice on the windows of all the hostel ashrams of the district and to ensure the presence of the superintendents residing in the ashram-hostels to fill the attendance at 10 pm.

In Pahari Korwa Ashram Sargadi, the collector inquired about the facilities from the children and asked the children general knowledge questions related to the district and the state. The Collector instructed the Assistant Commissioner Tribal Development to suspend the hostel superintendent for not having good arrangements in the hostel. He asked the Assistant Commissioner to take the children of all the hill Korwa ashrams operating in the district to the nearby places including the district headquarters.
