On the question of delay in starting the second phase of DG Shakti Yojana, he said that it is an ambitious and very big scheme of the government. Smartphones and tablets are to be given to 2 crore students. The process of mobilizing sufficient resources and delivering them to the beneficiaries properly is being done. Also said that the students should be rest assured that soon they will get tablets and smartphones.
Complaints of SFS teachers will be resolved
On the question asked on the issue of appointment and promotion of teachers, Yogendra Upadhyay said that the list of vacant posts is being prepared and the recruitment process will start on them soon. On the discrimination being done with the teachers of SFS in promotion, he said that Action will be taken in this matter as per rules and efforts will be made to redress the grievances of SFS teachers.
The shared responsibility of the government and the institution in mobilizing resources
On the question of Bundelkhand University not getting government grant, he said that in higher educational institutions, both the government and the institution together raise resources. The government helps as far as possible, but the responsibility of raising resources is also on the institution.
