Ghaziabad. Two alleged interstate drug traffickers have been arrested in a joint operation by Delhi and Ghaziabad Police. Along with this, 105 kg of narcotic substance has been recovered from them. The value of the seized narcotic has been estimated at Rs.4 crore. A senior official gave this information on Sunday. Superintendent of Police (Rural) I. Raja told reporters that these accused were arrested on the basis of a tip-off on Saturday. He told that the police stopped a suspicious car on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway and searched it.
Raja said that the accused have been identified as Sanjeet and Ankur. He told that both are residents of Sagarpur area of Southwest Delhi. The car has been seized and a case has been registered against both the persons under the NDPS Act, the official said.

STF Superintendent (Western UP) Kuldeep Narayan said that on the basis of an information, two ganja smugglers were arrested by the STF and the police station Ecotech-3, taking joint action. He had told that they were identified as Shahzad and Sonu. Both were residents of Ghaziabad and Bulandshahr districts respectively. He had told that one of his companions, Irfan alias Neta, had run away from the spot. Narayan told that 37 kg 600 grams of ganja was recovered from them, which was worth about Rs 25 lakh.
