In the Kasturba Nagar area of Shahdara district, the victim’s sister and her husband have been living in fear ever since the incident of kidnapping and gang-rape of a 20-year-old girl on Republic Day. The victim’s sister says that when the accused had come to kidnap her sister on Wednesday, she was present with her sister.
He said that seeing the accused women, both the sisters had also tried to escape, but the women caught his sister. The victim’s younger sister told that when two women came forward to catch her too, she ran away and hid in a street. When the accused were taking her sister, she kept pleading people to save her sister, but no one helped her.
Took away the hair: The victim’s sister told that all the women and other accused took her sister by beating her by the hair. For some distance, he had parked an auto, in which he made him sit and left from there. After his departure, she ran away with her sister’s two-year-old son due to fear and came to Vishwas Nagar at the place of one of her acquaintances. Out of fear, he did not tell anyone about the kidnapping of his sister. The victim’s sister told that she had come to know about the rape and other incidents from one of her own acquaintances, on which she called the police and informed.
Been searching for two months, threats were also being received
The victim’s husband told that the accused were looking for her for more than two months. He was living in different places, escaping from his home in Seemapuri, so that people do not get information about him. The accused were continuously threatening their family members.
