Divyang cricketer Luv Verma, a resident of Bihar elder village of Tamkuhiraj tehsil area of Kushinagar, met Governor Anandiben Patel at Raj Bhavan, Lucknow on Thursday. After presenting the memento to the Governor, he laid the file for his cricket related employment before the Governor.
The name of Luv Verma, a resident of Bihar’s elderly village, had come into the limelight in the past, when the Chief Minister of the state Yogi Adityanath gave him the award for the best disabled player. Under the leadership of this player, who was wandering in search of employment for many years, the Indian team became the winner in the Asia Cup in 2015. At that time Luv Verma was the vice-captain of the team.
