Student leader Vineet Chaprana and others pasting memorandum on the chair of the Principal of Medical College Meerut
On Wednesday, the students created a ruckus in the medical college regarding the disorder. Student leader Vineet Chaprana reached the medical college with 35 to 40 students and raised slogans by creating a ruckus. Slogans were raised about seating for patients in OPD, emergency, non-availability of water and cleanliness.
During this there was also a ruckus in the office of the Principal of the Medical College. The memorandum was pasted on the chair of the Principal of the Medill College. During this Principal RC Gupta did not meet in his office.
No arrangement in OPD in medical college
The students who created a ruckus say that there is no arrangement in the OPD in Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Medical College. Patients have to stand in line for hours. There is no seating arrangement for the patients. People come here from other districts for treatment in the disease, but the line itself kills the patients.

Even after spending crores of rupees, there is no system of cleanliness in the medical college. There is a fear of spreading the risk of infection due to filth among the patients. Doctors make prescriptions to order medicines from outside. Medicines were not found at the medicine store in the medical college. Patients also have to buy medicines from outside the college with their own money.

Students say that apart from government ambulances here, private ambulances take commission from patients. Patients are referred to private hospitals. The whole game is about commission. In the absence of hearing in a week, the students have warned of a sit-in in the principal’s office in the medical college itself. Nitin Malik, Aman Rana, Ashish Malik, Ashu Goswami, Rajat Thakur, Karthik Thakur and others were involved in creating ruckus.
