After much speculation and rumours, Motorola finally officially launched the Moto Watch 100. Let us tell you that it has been launched without WearOS, which has powered the other Motorola Watch- Moto 360. The Lenovo-owned smartphone company has introduced a brand new Moto OS with the Moto Watch 100. Better features will be available in this smartwatch. At present, the Moto Watch 100 has been brought officially in the US and other regions.
The company has not yet disclosed its plans to launch the smartwatch in other markets including India. This watch has been launched with multiple strap options.
Specifications of Moto Watch 100
The Moto Watch 100 comes in a single 42mm case and sports a 1.3-inch circular LCD display. The clock has the capability to always be on. Apart from this, the watch comes with 26 sports modes and various sensors including SPO2 tracker, a heart rate sensor, gyroscope, accelerometer and a 20mm strap size. You can also use a third party strap to pair it with the smartwatch.
What are the other protection related features?
For watch protection, the Moto Watch 100 is rated 5ATM water-resistant and uses GPS, GLONASS, and BeiDou as well as Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity. The smartwatch has a 355 mAh battery charge. The company claims that this watch provides up to two weeks of battery life on a single charge. The watch weighs 45.8 grams and measures 42x46x11.9mm.
What will be the price of Moto Watch 100?
Moto Watch 100 has been launched with a price of $ 99.99 (about Rs 7446). This is actually the cheapest watch Motorola has ever made. The smartwatch has been made available in Glacier Silver and Phantom Black color options.
US residents can pre-book the watch, but the device will be sold till December 10 only. A two-year warranty will also be given in this watch.
