The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) will do the work of building the road. However, the promise to close the road was beaten in December 2021 itself. About 4 km stretch from Hamidpur in Aligarh to Jewar, Kakod falling on the Jewar-Bulandshahr highway will be closed on February 21. Earlier this part of the highway was to be closed in November-December. But this was not done due to the foundation stone laying program of Jewar Airport. PM Narendra Modi, UP CM Yogi Adityanath participated in the program. The road was not closed due to the crowd coming to the program.

According to the experts, from February 21, all types of vehicles will be stopped at Sabota Cut from Jewar side and Jhajjar from Bulandshahr side.
