Sharadiya Navratri is starting from 26th September. This time Mata Rani is coming riding on an elephant. The nine forms of Mata have different significance in Navratri, which is especially fruitful for the devotees. In such a situation, well-known astrologer Arun Pandit is telling the special importance of every day of the holy Navratri. Posting on the country’s own social media, the Ku app, the astrologer said:
Nine forms of Mother Goddess are worshiped in Navratri. This year, the Shardiya Navratri will start from 26 September till 5 October. The nine forms of Mata have different significance in Shardiya Navratri, which is especially fruitful for the devotees. According to the Hindu calendar, Navratri will start from the Pratipada date of Ashwin month and will continue till the Navami date i.e. 5 October. This year’s Shardiya Navratri is considered special as Maa Durga will come riding on an elephant.

Day 1 – Maa Shailputri
By worshiping Shailputri, the daughter of the mountain king Himalaya, the Muladhara Chakra gets awakened and all kinds of siddhis are automatically attained by the seekers. Mother’s vehicle is Taurus.
Day 2: Maa Brahmacharini
Sadhaks who worship the Brahmacharini or Tapascharini form of the mother, they get austerity, renunciation, dispassion, restraint and virtue. Mother loves to enjoy sugar.
Third day- Maa Chandraghanta
In this form of Mother, she was named Chandraghanta because of the hour-shaped half moon on her head. By the grace of the mother, the seeker gets rid of all the troubles of the world, his vehicle is the lion.
Fourth day- Maa Kushmanda
Devotees who worship Mother Kushmanda, the creator of the universe from their abdomen, get rid of all kinds of diseases and sufferings and along with devotion to the mother, attainment of age, fame and strength also becomes easy.
Day 5 – Mother Skandmata
Being the mother of Kumar Kartikeya, she was named Skandamata, also known as Padmasana Devi. Sadhaks who worship him, enjoy all the pleasures of the world and finally attain the position of salvation. The vehicle of the mother is a lion.
Day 6 – Maa Katyayani
Pleased with the penance of Maharishi Katyayana, Adishakti Maa Durga took birth in his house as a daughter and was named Katyayani. By the grace of the mother, the seeker, adorned with the supernatural radiance, leads a happy life free from all kinds of fear, sorrow and anguish. The vehicle of Mother Katyayani is a lion.
Seventh day- Maa Kalratri
This form of Maa Durga, who came as a form of Kaal for all the demons on Saptami Tithi, is worshiped in Navratri. All kinds of ghosts, demons and fears are eradicated by the mere remembrance of the mother. By their grace Bhanuchakra is awakened. Mother’s vehicle is a donkey.
Eighth day- Maa Mahagauri
After coming in the form of Kali, the mother did severe penance and again found her color, then she was called Mahagauri. The vehicle of the mother is a bull and by her grace all the sufferings of the seeker get erased and he gets financial benefits.
Ninth day – Mother Siddhidatri
As the name suggests, this form of Mother is the one who bestows all kinds of Riddhis and Siddhis to the seeker. Mother Siddhidatri is seated on a lotus flower while her vehicle is also a lion.
