Aligarh district has secured the second position in the state by vaccinating more than 20,000 people in the one-day anti-coronavirus vaccination campaign. 224 teams were deployed by the health department for vaccination. Emphasis is being laid on more and more vaccinations to protect people from corona virus. The government also wants to protect people by vaccinating. The Health Department engaged 224 teams, each team included 2 employees. Despite the holiday, the teams did a better job and got the second position in the state by applying 20,574 doses till the evening. In which Kanpur stood first and Varanasi third, Jaunpur was in fourth place and Ghaziabad was at number five.
The Health Department said that vaccination is the most effective weapon against corona virus, it is understood by the people. According to the data, 30 percent population (12.17 lakh) of the district has received both the vaccines of Kovid against the target (26.47 lakh). According to immunization above 18 years of age, this figure has reached 45 percent. While 22.74 lakh people have got the first vaccine. The population of the district is more than 36 lakhs. For 100 percent vaccination, the health department has more than 224. Teams are busy in vaccination.

DMO of the Health Department, Rahul Kulshrestha said that Aligarh has stood second in the entire state in one-day vaccination. The credit for this goes to the immunization teams and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Anand Upadhyay. It will be an effort from the health department that next time we will get the number one position in the state.
