Noida. After Jewar Airport, soon the construction of heliport in Noida will start. Global tenders related to the heliport have been issued. At the same time, the technical bid will be opened in March. Due to which it is being claimed that the work of the heliport will start in April. Land for heliport in Sector-151A of Noida has also been seen. The cost of the heliport to be built on more than 9 acres of land is expected to be around Rs 43 crore. The good thing is that space will also be given to land the air ambulance at the heliport.
According to an estimate, the distance of the heliport from Pari Chowk will be 12 km and from the Mahamaya flyover it will be 20 km. Experts say that helicopter service is expected to start from this heliport with 5 helicopters of Bell-412 and Mi-172 designs. In this type of helicopter, 12 to 25 people can sit together at a time.
5 Bell 412 helicopters will be able to stand together
According to experts, 5 Bell 412 helicopters (12 seater) will be able to stand together at the heliport. Not only this, Mi 172 (26 seater) helicopter can also be used at this heliport. But such a large helicopter will be used only during emergency and VIP movement. Helicopter maintenance repair and overhauling facilities will also be there at the heliport itself.
Terminal building will be constructed in 500 square meters. At a time, 20 passengers will depart from the heliport and 20 passengers will be operated. Flights can be taken from the heliport only during the day. There will be a 15 meter high air traffic control tower at the heliport. Parking for 50 cars, electric sub-station, fire station will also be built at the heliport itself. Air ambulance can also be used from here if needed.
