Due to the continuous outline of Sanskrit schools, the beauty of Sanskrit schools has returned. Alam is that the number of students continuously decreasing for 10 years has been braked. Not only this, 5000 students have also increased in the last 4 years.
Once there was enrollment of 26 thousand students
About 10 years ago, about 26 thousand students were enrolled in 63 aided and 14 unaided recognized Sanskrit schools of Jaunpur. A large number of students were enrolled in Sanskrit schools. But in the year 2018, this number of students came down to close to 7,822. Along with education in secondary schools, the government also started focusing on Sanskrit schools. Gradually its effect started to be seen in Sanskrit schools.
Number increased in 4 years
The result was that the number of students started increasing gradually in the last 4 years. In jaunpur total 77 schools the number of students has increased in the last 4 years. In the year 2018, where there was an enrollment of 7,822 students, in 2022 this number has increased to 12,722. Not only has the dwindling number of students put a brake on but the enrollment in Sanskrit schools has also increased in the last 4 years.

Earlier, in the examinations of the Board of Secondary Education, students had turned their backs on Sanskrit schools due to the self-centre system. But after the encouragement of Sanskrit schools by the government, the splendor of the schools has returned. Due to more relaxation, the influx of students with the intention of passing with good marks without studying had come to the Board of Secondary Education. This was believed to be the most important reason behind the declining number of students in Sanskrit schools.

In this matter, District School Inspector Rajkumar Pandit said that special attention is being paid to Sanskrit schools. He said that an order had come to focus on the quality of education in Sanskrit Vidyalaya. In order to provide modern education in these schools, the exercise has been started. The Sanskrit schools which have been neglected for years, are being provided with proper arrangement of resources. He said that two more schools have got recognition in Jaunpur district.
