Hardoi: When the police reached a phone call in Shahabad town of Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh, when the police opened the door of the house, everyone was blown away. Actually, the bodies of women and men were found lying in a suspicious condition in a house. On receiving the information, the Additional Superintendent of Police reached the spot along with the CO. The police took the bodies into custody. According to the ASP, prima facie there is a possibility of death due to smoke, the exact cause of death will be ascertained in the post-mortem report.
The bodies of a woman and a man were found in a room. When the woman’s husband reached the spot, he saw that the room was full of fire and smoke. On getting information about the matter, the police reached the spot. Both the bodies have been sent for post-mortem. Hafizuddin (55), a resident of Mohalla Allahpur in Shahabad Kotwali area of the district, and retired Mal Babu Zaki Ahmed Khan were friends. Hafeezuddin and Zaki Ahmed used to visit each other’s house everyday. On Thursday, Zaki Babu left Hafizuddin and wife Akhtar Jahan for a walk at eleven o’clock.
The bodies of Akhtar Jahan, a resident of Shahabad Kotwali’s Mohalla Mehmood, and Hafeez, a resident of Allahpur, were found lying inside the house under suspicious circumstances, after which a crowd of nearby people gathered here. After getting information about the matter, Kotwali police reached. On receiving the information, Additional Superintendent of Police Durgesh Kumar Singh reached the spot along with CO Shahabad and investigated. The police took the bodies into custody. According to the ASP prima facie there is a possibility of death due to smoke.
