According to the information, JK Yadav, residents of Sonwalia Kodar village of Baikunthpur police station area, and Devendra Sharma and Ramesh Mahto, residents of Basahan village, have died under suspicious circumstances. It is being told that after these deaths, the police reached hurriedly in both the villages and in the presence of the police people are busy in cremating the dead bodies. It is also being told that the condition of many people of the area, including Rinku Yadav, ward member of Sonwalia Kodar village and ward number 6 of Hamidpur Panchayat, is critical. They are being treated in private hospitals. But this has not been confirmed from the administrative level. Four other people of the same village have also become ill, whose condition remains critical.
According to information received from sources, many people had consumed liquor together on Friday evening in Sonwalia and Basahan villages of Baikunthpur, after which everyone’s health started deteriorating as the night progressed. Till Saturday morning, 3 people have died, while the condition of many others remains critical. The information about this matter has spread like fire in the entire area. The eyes of doctors and family members are stuck on the health of those whose condition has become critical after consuming alcohol. People are seen panicking due to the apprehension of some bad luck.
