The SSP has taken strict action in the case of illegally making people drink liquor in a hotel in Muzaffarnagar. In the case of illegal drinking, the SSP has suspended the Kukda outpost in-charge directly assuming the culprit. Four people, including three hotel workers, are being interrogated by taking them into custody in connection with the drinking of liquor.
There was a complaint about drinking alcohol on the highway hotels
Liquor is being made openly on the outskirts of the city and at the dhabas located on the highway. Complaints were made about illegal drinking of liquor at hotels and dhabas. SSP Abhishek Yadav got the matter investigated secretly. Investigation revealed that liquor was being served to the customers at Hotel Vijay in Kukda area. After which, on the orders of the SSP, a raid was conducted at Hotel Vijay under the direction of Inspector Pankaj Pant, New Mandi Police Station. During the raid, three hotel workers were found drinking alcohol. A customer who was drinking alcohol from the spot was also caught. Police have started interrogation by taking all four into custody.

The outpost in-charge also got involved in the matter of serving liquor to the people in Hotel Vijay, located in the outpost Kukda area of New Mandi Kotwali area. Taking the matter seriously, SSP Abhishek Yadav suspended Kukda outpost in-charge Manvendra Bhati.
