After the Modi government reduced the excise duty on petrol by Rs 5 and diesel by Rs 10, the government of UP and Haryana has reduced VAT. The Yogi Adityanath government of UP has reduced VAT on petrol by Rs 7 and on diesel by Rs 2. At the same time, the Haryana government also announced to reduce VAT on the day of Diwali. Due to this, petrol and diesel have become cheaper by Rs 12 per liter in both these states.

At present, petrol is getting Rs 95.51 per liter in Noida. While the price of diesel is Rs 87.01 per liter. At the same time, petrol is getting Rs 95.29 and diesel Rs 86.80 in Ghaziabad. If we talk about Faridabad and Gurugram of Haryana, then petrol-diesel is much cheaper here as compared to Delhi. Petrol is being sold in Faridabad for Rs 96.22 and diesel at Rs 87.42.
