Noida. Soon the Yamuna Authority is going to do the work of one cult and two causes. The authority has included a major plan in its master plan 2041 regarding the Yamuna Expressway. Under the scheme, a picnic spot will be built in an area of 4.5 thousand hectares along the expressway. Not only this, this area will be developed by connecting the wetland, forest area, canal, puddle and lake. It will also be called City of Lungs. It is worth noting that the Yamuna Authority in its master plan has given 35 percent land to the new city for green area. Along with this, Ecotourism Center will be available for people to visit in NCR.
Picnic spot will be built on the side of the expressway
Yamuna Authority will also use the land of villages adjoining it including the banks of Yamuna Expressway to develop greenery. Along with this, the different areas which are already developed will work to connect them. By mixing all these a picnic spot will be made. Forest area in Jaganpur-Afzalpur of Dankaur, wetland in Dhanauri and other forest areas including Yamuna will also be added.
The purpose of the authority behind developing such a green area is also to prevent land encroachment. People encroach on the land of ponds, lakes, puddles and forests etc. Therefore, in the first phase, work will start on the plan to develop them by marking them.
Land has been left for every work in the new master plan
In the new master plan of Yamuna Authority, land has also been identified for every work. For example, about 20 percent of the land will be used for industrial land, about 15 percent for mixed land, 12 percent for residential, 8 percent in commercial, 35 percent in green belt, 10 percent in road etc. After Noida and Greater Noida, the greenery in Yamuna has been almost doubled.
After 20 years population will be 39 lakhs
Officials of Yamuna Authority say that Logistic City, Fun City, Sports City have been proposed in the new master plan. Not only this, the proposal to set up Financial City, Electronic City etc. is also included. By 2041, the Yamuna Authority’s sectors will have a population of around 39 lakh and for this at least 8 lakh houses will be required. At the same time, according to the population, about 12 thousand hectares of land would also be required for commercial use.
