New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Uttarakhand on Thursday. During this, he will give a gift of more than 17 thousand 500 crores to the state in Haldwani. The special thing is that PM Modi will land at the Air Force airport in Bareilly to participate in this program. It is being told that PM’s plane will land at Trishul airbase. Union Home Minister Amit Shah is also reaching Bareilly on Thursday itself. Here he will be a part of the Jan Vishwas rally.
A statement was issued by the Prime Minister’s Office on Tuesday, ‘Out of 23 projects, 17 projects worth Rs 14,100 crore will be laid. These projects are related to several sectors/sectors including irrigation, roads, housing, health infrastructure, industries, sanitation, drinking water supply. Six projects will be inaugurated in this program, which include road widening projects, a hydroelectric project in Pithoragarh and projects related to improvement of sewerage network in Nainital. The total cost of these projects is Rs 3,400 crore.
It was informed by the PMO that Modi would lay the foundation stone of Lakhwar multi-purpose project. It was first planned in 1976 and it was delayed for many years. It is being told that six states will benefit from this project. Along with this, the road sector projects worth Rs 8,700 crore will be inaugurated and the foundation stone will be laid by the PM. The projects will realize PM’s vision of improving connectivity for inaccessible, rural and border areas. This will improve connectivity for Kailash Mansarovar Yatra.
Apart from this, PM Modi will also lay the foundation stone of AIIMS Rishikesh Satellite Center in Udham Singh Nagar and Jagjivan Ram Government Medical College in Pithoragarh. Along with this, Aroma Park in Kashipur, Plastic Industrial Park in Sitarganj and many projects related to residential, sanitation and drinking water supply will be started across the state. The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for the construction of about 2400 houses for the economically weaker sections in Sitarganj and Kashipur areas of Udham Singh Nagar district. These houses will be constructed under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) at a total cost of more than Rs 170 crore.
