Police should check with Excise Department: Police Commissioner said to the Thanedars of Varanasi – start Operation Dastak-3 against the shooters

The officers and the Thanedars of Varanasi Commissionerate were asked by the Police Commissioner to do duty with extra vigilance in view of Holi.

After the assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh ended on Saturday, Varanasi Police Commissioner A. Satish Ganesh reviewed the law and order situation of the commissionerate. The Commissioner of Police told the Thanedars of the Commissionerate that in view of Holi, the police should do daily checking by forming a joint team with the Excise Department. Complaints of illegal sale of liquor should not come from anywhere in the commissionerate area. Along with this, Operation Dastak-3 campaign should be started against the marked shooters. In this sequence, by visiting the locations of the marked shooters, the police should verify them and the preventive action against them continues continuously.

The police commissioner told the policemen that the police should deal strictly with those with anti-social behavior in public places.

Action should be taken against illegal construction

The Commissioner of Police said that action should be taken against illegal construction by taking list from Municipal Corporation and Varanasi Development Authority. Action should be continued against those who are identified mafia. The police action against those who illegally occupied the common man’s land in an organized manner should continue. There should be no delay in attaching the properties of those against whom action has been taken under the Gangster Act. Police should get the accused punished from the court by effectively defending the crimes against women.

good behavior with common man

The police commissioner said that the behavior of the police with the common man should be good. All the station in-charges should hold meetings at the police station level with sari traders, bullion traders, galla traders and people associated with other types of industries. Police strictly dealt with those with anti social behavior in public places. In view of Holi, more and more meetings of the Peace Committee should be organized and the points of dispute should be resolved with mutual consent. In view of Holi, police should do duty with extra vigilance and all ACPs should be continuously active in their circles.
