SP has declared sitting MLA Lucky Yadav as candidate from Malhni assembly seat of Jaunpur. Lucky Yadav defeated his nearest rival Dhananjay Singh in the Malhani by-election. Talking to the media after getting the ticket, Lucky Yadav said that after the formation of the SP government, his priority would be to bring Jaunpur into the category of B-grade city.
