MLC Akshay Pratap Singh
In Pratapgarh, the problems of Raja Bhaiya’s brother MLC Akshay Pratap Singh have increased again. It is alleged that he had obtained the arms license on a fake address. He also had to go to jail in this case. However, he got bail again. Now his bail has been cancelled. While notice has been issued to the surety, a non-bailable warrant has been issued for Akshay Pratap.
District Judge Sanjay Shankar Pandey has set aside the order of the Additional District Judge. During the process of MLC election, the MP/MLA court sentenced him to 7 years and sent to jail. On the very next day of going to jail, the Additional District Judge had stayed the sentence along with bail. Due to which Akshay Pratap could contest the election of MLC.

MLC Akshay Pratap Singh alias Gopal had obtained arms license from the city address about 20 years back. In this case, the then Kotwal DP Shukla had filed a charge sheet against the MLC in the court by registering a case in Nagar Kotwali. On March 15, the court had held the MLC guilty. After hearing the sentence on 22 March, the court, while giving the final verdict on 23 March, imposed a sentence of 7 years and a fine of 10 thousand and he had to go to jail.
Till now arms license is being renewed
In the case, Akshay Pratap Singh advocate former DGC Sachindra Pratap Singh sought justice while giving his side on the same matter in the court, then the court gave a stay order on the whole matter and approved the bail of MLC Akshay Pratap Singh. The defense counsel appealed against the sentence in the Court of Session. In which the arguments given by the prosecution were once again heard and the defense counsel while giving information said that even today the arms license is being renewed and it has not been revoked. Because the address at which the license has been taken has been checked many times. In which no fact was concealed and on this basis, the Sessions Court accepted and convicted him.
