Shops sealed in Topia Sarai
The Saharanpur Municipal Corporation has intensified the campaign to recover the outstanding house tax and water tax. Seal action has been taken on 10 shops of the defaulters in two days. The corporation has warned to seal the property after the seal on those who do not deposit the tax.
Tax deposited in cash counters and camps
The Municipal Corporation has intensified the campaign against the big defaulters of those who did not deposit the tax. Municipal Commissioner Gyanendra Singh has warned that the defaulters on whom the tax is due to the corporation, they should immediately reach the corporation and deposit the tax at the cash counters or camps being set up in the areas. Otherwise, apart from sealing the property, attachment action will be taken against them.
Seal will open after depositing tax
Chief Assessing Officer Ravish Chaudhary said that the team of Revenue Department of Municipal Corporation sealed seven shops of two properties in Mohalla Topiyan Sarai on Thursday. The owners of the said property were having arrears of tax in the form of house tax and water tax for a long time. Chief Assessing Officer Ravish Chaudhary told the shop owners that if they pay the outstanding tax in the corporation soon, then the seals of the shops would be opened. At the time of the action, the enforcement team in-charge Col BS Negi, besides Naresh Chand, Hemraj and the tax superintendent Vinay Sharma, tax inspector Lokesh, tax collector Shamshad, Pravesh, Ahmed Raza and Rajendra were present from the home tax department.
Additional Municipal Commissioner Rajesh Yadav says that people who have tax arrears for many years or who are big arrears. Property sealing action is being taken against them, if the dues are not deposited even after this, then attachment action will be taken. This campaign against the defaulters will continue continuously.
