Lucknow. According to the intention of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Minister of PWD Department Jitin Prasad is busy with his whole life. In the meantime, while improving the image of the PWD department, he has directed the construction corporation and the bridge corporation to implement the schemes by working in other states, along with improving the condition of the roads. With this, along with completing 100 days of action plans, the focus has been kept on preparing big plans and a network of roads for accessible movement.

The departmental minister has set a target to complete most of the schemes before the year 2024. It is clear that before the Lok Sabha elections, the PWD department will complete all its big plans. MoU with Railways has sought proposals for construction of ROBs at all level crossings having more than one lakh TVUs. With this said that 50 big projects of UP should be identified and their work should be done. At the same time, along with implementing the five-year maintenance system of the roads, the proposals received by the public representatives should be included in the action plan. Prasad said that the construction work should be done according to the standard and no laxity should be taken. Whereas after surveying the routes connecting two national highways, a proposal should be sent for approval from the Government of India to declare them as national routes.

PWD stalled projects will start
With this, Minister of PWD Department Jitin Prasad said that the work of many projects of the department has been stopped due to forest land, for this, a meeting should be started with the officials of the Forest Department. Encroachments should be removed from the side of the roads so that the roads are not blocked. At the same time, a transparent system should be started for redressal of grievances of the general public.

PWD officers stirred by experience of Prasad’s central ministries
The experience of Jitin Prasad’s central ministries has created a stir among the PWD officers. As soon as he took over the PWD department, along with summoning the details of departmental works from the officers, he started tightening the screws of the negative officers. Apart from this, the action has been expedited on the engineers with the deputation of PWD in the construction corporation for years. At the same time, the investigation of the people sitting in the construction corporation as the polytechnic teacher GM has started. Let us inform that Jitin Prasad has experience of running NHAI, Steel, Petroleum and HRD Ministries. This is the reason that there will be no problems in implementing all the schemes in the PWD department.
