SP won 4 out of 7 seats in Meerut, BJP on 2 seats, counting of votes is going on in Meerut South seat.

Ranjan Sharma, who contested from the city seat on a Congress ticket in the seven assembly seats in Meerut, has contested the election by spending the most money. Ranjan has spent Rs 19 lakh 76 thousand 948 in the entire election. Whereas the BSP candidate who spends the least is Dilshad. Dilshad has contested the entire election by spending a total of Rs 2 lakh 25 thousand 20.

Amit Agarwal, the richest candidate of the first phase, is also behind in expenditure
In western UP, elections were held for 58 seats in the first phase. Among the election candidates of these 58 seats, BJP leader Amit Aggarwal, who owns property worth 150 crores, also lagged behind in election expenditure. Amit Agarwal, who contested from Meerut Cantt seat, contested the entire election for a total of Rs 14 lakh. It was the first election of BJP candidate Kamaldutt Sharma from the city seat, but Kamal Dutt has spent more than 14 lakhs in the election.

Ranjan spent in rickshaw, feasts
In Meerut Municipal Corporation, Deputy Mayor Ranjan Sharma is contesting from the city seat on a Congress ticket. Ranjan has spent the most money in his election. A large amount of expenditure has been spent on e-rickshaws for publicity and workers’ feasts. In the details submitted by Ranjan, the expenditure of more than one lakh on rickshaw promotion has been shown. Thousands of rupees have also been spent on confectionery, oil, milk, cheese.

Cheap election of former MLA on the hottest seat
In Meerut, the biggest challenge for the BJP was in the Siwalkhas seat, former MLA of the SP, Ghulam Mohammad, contested his election at the same cost. Ghulam Mohammad contested the election for a total of Rs 5 lakh 46 thousand 29. Similarly, Congress candidate Jagdish Prasad also lagged behind in expenditure. Jagdish Prasad contested the election for 5 lakh 74 thousand 100 rupees. BJP candidate Maninder Pal Singh has shown an expenditure of 13 lakh 48 thousand.

Rafiq who spent the least also won
In the victory of the winners in seven assembly seats of Meerut, Rafiq Ansari of SP is such a candidate who has won the election by spending the least amount. Rafiq spent a total of Rs 3,57,340 in the entire election and won the field. BJP candidate Amit Agrawal from Meerut Cantt has made the most money on the election among the seven winners. Amit Agarwal has spent Rs 14, 23, 419.
