Ranjan Sharma, who contested from the city seat on a Congress ticket in the seven assembly seats in Meerut, has contested the election by spending the most money. Ranjan has spent Rs 19 lakh 76 thousand 948 in the entire election. Whereas the BSP candidate who spends the least is Dilshad. Dilshad has contested the entire election by spending a total of Rs 2 lakh 25 thousand 20.

Jagdish Prasad contested the election for 5 lakh 74 thousand 100 rupees. BJP candidate Maninder Pal Singh has shown an expenditure of 13 lakh 48 thousand.
