The court of Special Judge (PACSO) Rajendra Prasad in Chandauli, after hearing a case on Monday, sentenced the accused of minor to 20 years imprisonment. Also imposed a fine of 23 thousand under various sections. In default of payment of fine, the guilty will have to undergo imprisonment for two more years. On behalf of the victim, Special Advocate (PACO) Shamsher Bahadur Singh presented evidence and arguments in the court. After this the court sentenced the guilty.
Special advocate (PACO) Shamsher Bahadur Singh said that on January 2, 2018, Bahadur Gond of Paikushi village of Kandwa police station area gave a complaint in the police station that his daughter went missing from the house. In this case, the mobile of Lalu Sharma of the village has been recovered from the school bag of the girl. Police registered a case against two people Babulal alias Shivkumar and Lalu Sharma under sections 363 and 366 in the same case. But during the investigation, the police increased the cases under sections 376, 506 and 3/4 (PACSO Act) and SC ST Act.
The matter was heard in the Court of Special Judge (PACO) on Monday. At the same time, the court considered Babulal alias Shivakumar guilty on the basis of evidence and reasoning and announced the punishment. The court sentenced Babulal to four years imprisonment and five thousand fine under section 363 IPC, five years imprisonment under section 366 and seven thousand fine, section 506 to one year imprisonment and one thousand and 20 years imprisonment under POCSO Act. and ordered to deposit a fine of ten thousand rupees. Special advocate Shamsher Bahadur Singh said that the convict has been sentenced to 20 years and a fine of Rs 23 thousand. Failure to pay the fine will result in imprisonment for two more years.
