A leopard fell into a well in a village on the Uttarakhand border. Which was rescued by the forest department team with the help of a net. During this there was a crowd on the spot. In the operation that lasted for about 6 hours, the forest department team pulled the leopard out of the well with the help of a net. After this the team took him away in a cage. Near this leopard was also seen in Mastalipur village of Moradabad. Here the leopard tried to hunt a dog sitting on the terrace.

The case is of village Kasampur in Udham Singh Nagar district of Uttarakhand situated on the border of Moradabad district. The villagers had seen a leopard fall in the well here on Tuesday afternoon. The villagers informed the police and forest department about this. On which the forest department team and police reached the spot. After this the leopard rescue started.

Balwant Singh Shahi, DFO, Terai West Forest Division, says that after medical examination, the leopard will be released in the Jim Corbett forest. He said that orders had been received from the department to tranquilize the leopard. But it was not needed. The leopard was pulled out of the well with the help of a net.
