Police sources said on Monday that Vibhu Dixit (32) was going on a motorcycle with his mother-in-law Vinita Shukla (55) and 12-year-old brother-in-law Krishna on the Sitapur-Lucknow National Highway in Khairabad police station area late on Sunday night. Then a speeding bus going to Lucknow crushed the three.
He told that the three people who were hit by the bus were taken to the hospital where doctors declared them brought dead. He said that after the accident, the bus also overturned due to which some people on board suffered minor injuries. Police sources said that the injured passengers have been discharged after first aid. He said that the bus driver and the operator have fled from the spot and search is on for them.
