Unknown miscreants riding bikes carried out the robbery incident in Kadipur Kotwali area in Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The miscreants injured the bike rider by hitting him with the butt of the pistol and after beating the mother of the youth sitting on the bike, snatched the gold chain worn around the neck and fled. Police is now probing the whole matter.

According to the information received, Manoj Kumar Singh, son of Samar Bahadur Singh, resident of Tawakkalpur Banauta village of local Kotwali area, was coming home from Kadipur along with his mother Nirmala Singh on a military bike. As soon as he reached the canal track near Banauta Nishad Basti, two unidentified miscreants riding a bike stopped Manoj Singh’s bike at the tip of a gun. It is alleged that the miscreants pulled the gold chain from the neck of the bike rider’s mother. When Manoj protested on this, at the same time another miscreant killed Manoj’s mother Nirmala Singh and her with the butt of a gun and badly injured.
Police officials reached the CHC and inquired about the condition of the injured.

The miscreants snatched the gold chain from mother Nirmala Singh’s neck and fled. This incident of snatching has created an atmosphere of panic in the entire area. At the same time, the injured mother and son were taken to the Community Health Center Kadipur for treatment, where both are undergoing treatment. On the information of the incident, Circle Officer Radheshyam Sharma, Inspector-in-Charge Umeshwar Pratap Yadav reached the hospital along with the police team and inquired about the condition of the injured. The police have intensified the blockade to arrest the miscreants.
