New Delhi. Samsung is going to launch a total of 64 smartphone models in 2022. One after the other great smartphones are coming. You must have heard about many of these smartphones. A recent report by Elec revealed which chipset Samsung is going to use in all its smartphones and tablets by 2022.
If the report is to be believed, then Samsung is going to use Qualcomm (Qualcomm), Exynos, MediaTek and Unisoc chipsets in all the phones coming next year. As you have already known that the company has prepared to bring a total of 64 smartphone models in the market in 2022. Out of these, Qualcomm chipset is going to be used in maximum 31 models.
According to the report of Elect, Samsung is going to bring 20 smartphones with Exynos SoCs in addition to 31 Qualcomm-based smartphone models. The chipsets of the Exynos SoCs will be developed in collaboration with Samsung and AMD. Apart from this, MediaTek chipsets are going to be used in 14 smartphone models. If we talk about the number of models based on Unisoc chipset, then it will be only three.
Which device has which chip
If we talk about the devices, then both Exynos (South Korea, Europe) and Qualcomm (US) chipsets will be used in the Galaxy S22 series. Some reports have also come that Qualcomm based smartphones will be brought in India and Africa and not Exynos based.
Exynos silicon will be used in Galaxy S22 FE. There is talk of mass production of this smartphone in the third quarter of 2022. The Galaxy S21 FE will use both Qualcomm and Exynos SoCs.
The Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Flip 4 will come fully with Qualcomm chips, while the Galaxy Tab S8 and Galaxy Tab 8 Plus (Galaxy Tab S8+) and Galaxy Tab S 8 Ultra (Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra) is going to come completely on Exynos chipset.
The Galaxy A53 is now reported to be using Exynos instead of Qualcomm. Galaxy A33 can be brought to Exynos from MediaTek. Galaxy A73 will be brought on Qualcomm silicon. However, due to the lack of semiconductors running globally, these chipsets may also change.
