The attachment campaign against the illegal assets of International Drug Mafia Haji Taslim is continuing for the second day in Meerut. On Thursday, the property built in Macheran of the mafia was attached by the Railway Road Police Station. With the RAF and heavy force, the police station reached Macheran and seized the property of the mafia and sealed it. A day earlier on Wednesday, Taslim’s bungalow worth 1.5 crore was confiscated at Lisadi Gate.
So far, assets worth Rs 2 crore have been seized
In two days, the hammer of the police has gone on the illegal property worth more than two crores of Taslim’s son Hafiz. Two houses have been seized and sealed by the police. The property which was seized on Thursday in Macheran is said to be worth Rs 50 lakh. ASP Chandrakant Meena, along with heavy police force, reached the spot and got the property attached. The public was told that this property is now under the confiscation of the state government, it cannot be bought or sold. At the same time, a notice of attachment has been written by putting a seal on Taslim’s house. When the heavy police force reached to attach the property of Mafia Taslim, the house was locked. It is being told that the mafia used to run the drug business from this house. The police have searched the house by breaking the lock of the house.
Search continues for Tasleem’s illegal properties
Police say that Tasleem has made all the wealth illegally by doing drug business. The syndicate of mafia is spread in other districts including Meerut. After gathering information about all his properties, the police will take action on them. The property of Lisadi Gate and Macheran in Meerut has been attached. Illegal property of mafia is also being told in Meerut countryside and Cantt area, that too soon, the process of attachment will be done by hammering.
ASP Chandrakant Meena Told that more than 50 cases are registered against drug mafia Taslim in various police stations. On Wednesday, property worth 1.5 crore was attached at Lisadi Gate police station. Today the second property has been confiscated. Other properties are also being investigated. Under the provisions of the Gangster Act, it has been attached by the orders of the DM. This property can no longer be bought or sold.
