Ghaziabad/Lucknow. In Uttar Pradesh, the cases of rising corona have gained momentum. Gradually, record breaking cases have started coming up from many districts in the state. In this sequence, once again Section 144 has been implemented in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. The administration has taken this decision in view of the increasing infection of Kovid, entrance examinations, upcoming festivals and political parties, farmer organizations and other possible sit-in demonstrations. On the other hand, the number of active patients in Ghaziabad has reached close to 1 thousand. On the instructions of the government, District Magistrate Rakesh Kumar Singh, while issuing the Kovid line, has ordered for strict compliance. According to the guideline, the swimming pool, water park and gym have been ordered to be closed. Restaurants, hotels, food points and cinemas will operate with 50 percent capacity.
The District Magistrate has advised to implement work from home system of companies related to IT sector. Not more than 100 people will be able to gather at any closed place. Those who gather in public places, they will have to mainly follow the mask, 2 yards of sanitization, following the Kovid guidelines. In the open space, only 50 percent of the people will be able to gather from the capacity of the ground. It is necessary to control the crowd at the market place, weekly market.
Lucknow District Magistrate Abhishek Prakash, while issuing a statement on Thursday evening, said that Section 144 will remain in force from January 7 to February 8, 2022. At the same time, due to more than 1 thousand corona cases, swimming pool, water park and gym will remain closed. Night curfew will be applicable from 10 pm to 6 am due to the active cases of corona in Lucknow being more than 1 thousand. Along with this, there will be a complete ban on dharna-demonstration around the assembly. There will also be a ban on movement of tractor trolley, horse cart, bullock cart, flammable material, cylinders and weapons etc. around the assembly. Except for the Containment Zone, more than 50 people will not be able to gather at religious places.
