In view of the CM’s program, the security agency has been alerted. The force will be guarded within a radius of one kilometer at the CM’s venue.
1800 policemen imposed duty
SSP Meerut Prabhakar Chaudhary said that the security preparations are complete. The GRP is also investigating the threat letter received, the police has started a separate investigation. For the Chief Minister’s program, 2 SPs, 8 Additional SPs, 12 COs, 45 Inspectors / Station House Officers, 3 Company PACs and 1200 police constables have been deployed. There will be separate security in the circle of the stage. Strict security will be enforced while giving instructions for checking from the main gate around the venue. Heavy security arrangements have been made within a radius of one kilometer.
Special commandos will also be present
A UP official said that for the security of the CM, ATS and special commandos will take the stage and the venue under their supervision on Wednesday itself. The intelligence department is on full alert. Meerut Divisional Commissioner Surendra Singh, ADG Zone Rajiv Sabharwal and IG Praveen Kumar and SSP themselves are taking stock of the venue.
