A new date bar has come for Shared Media Page in the app. This will make it very easy for users to find photos and videos according to the month and day. In this update, more control has been given to the group admin. He can even decide who can see or join the chat. Not only this, in the new update of Telegram, new interactive emoji with global chat themes have also been added. iOS will also inform users about the time taken to access Telegram shared locations. Such feature is not yet available in WhatsApp.
advantage of calendar view
Shared Media page has got a new calendar view. It allows users to find media from a specific date. You can also filter shared media by photos or videos, or both. Come to it by tapping on the chat header and then scrolling down. It can then be accessed by clicking on the menu icon. After reaching a date in shared media, you can zoom-in or zoom-out to view it. This feature works on the entire gallery, with the help of which you can watch media at your convenience.
Group or channel admin got more control
The preview option has also come for the admin in the new update. When any user will click on the link sent for the invite, the Admin Approval feature will be activated automatically. Users will get a button to send the request to the admin. Admins can manage this request through the new bar at the top of the chat. Admin can accept and reject anyone’s request. They can see the user’s bio and public profile photo.
iOS will tell the user the transit time
Shared locations on iOS will now show transit time with the new update. Meaning that information will be given about the time taken to reach from one place to another. For this, you have to click on Shared Location. In the new update, users will also get new interactive emoji with fullscreen effect. Also, the settings of Telegram for iOS have been redesigned to match the style of iOS 15.
