The Greater Noida Authority has accelerated the pace of maintenance and development works. The authority has floated tenders worth about Rs 93 crore for 56 works related to the maintenance and development of villages and sectors. These works include resolving the problem of water logging during rains at Haldauni turn, development of 8 smart villages, construction of three FOBs and repair of the entrance gate of Greater Noida West from Tigri roundabout.
The CEO of Greater Noida Authority, Surendra Singh has given instructions to expedite the works related to maintenance and development of sectors and villages on priority. In view of this, the project department has floated tenders worth about Rs 93 crore for 56 works.
Tenders floated for three FOBs
The authority is planning to build a foot over bridge (FOB) on Surajpur-Kasna road in front of the Collectorate, in front of Jagat Farm and Ishaan Institute and in front of Kailash Hospital. Till now I was trying to build on BOT (Built Operate and Transfer) basis, but due to non-availability of companies, now I have decided to make it myself. The authority has again floated tenders for these three FOBs.
Tenders floated to make seven villages smart
Tenders have also been floated for making 7 villages of Greater Noida into smart villages. These include Yusufpur Chak Shahberi, Aminabad alias Miyana, Chipiyana Khurd alias Tigri, Cheerasi, Astauli, Sirsa, Chhapraula, Sadullapur and Jalpura. Development works will be done in the form of smart villages in these villages. Tenders worth Rs 1.27 crore have been issued for installation and maintenance of synthetic athletics track at Greater Noida Sports Complex for five years.
RCC drain will be built from Haldauni Mor to Hindon
During the rainy season, there is water logging around Haldauni bend, due to which the movement is also obstructed. The authority has decided to build RCC drain from Haldauni Mor to Hindon. The project department has also issued tenders for this. About Rs 5.05 crore is estimated to be spent on this. The entrance gate on the 60 meter wide road near Tigri Rotary will be repaired and made more beautiful.
Tenders were also floated for these works
The maintenance of the pipeline for three years for six per cent of the plots in different villages will cost Rs 2.38 crore. Tenders have also been issued for construction of RCC drain in Bhanauta village. About 44 lakh rupees will be spent on this. Tenders have also been issued for maintenance of Sector Alpha One commercial belt for three years. Tenders have also been floated to get the repair work of the staff quarters of Sector Eta One done soon.
Greater Noida Authority floats tender, work will start in two months
Apart from this, the authority has come out with a scheme for allotment of nursery in an area of 6000 square meters in the green belt of Techzone Four of Greater Noida West. You can apply from 13th May. The last date for opening of pre-qualification bids is May 26. AK Arora, General Manager of the Authority, has said that these works will be started after completing the tender process at the earliest. 93 crore tenders have been floated by the authority for 56 works. The work will start in two months.
