On Monday, the Bengal Police took a minor bride brought from Delhi by spending one lakh rupees in Utara village of Hariawan police station area in Hardoi district of UP. Being a victim of cheating in the name of marriage, the young man kept rubbing his hands.
Farmer Kallu was not getting married because he was 42 years old. A few days ago, a young man from the village talked about getting her married. According to Kallu, the young man got her to talk to an agent in Delhi over the phone.
The agent assured her to marry him after spending one lakh rupees. He reached Delhi under the guise of an agent. There the agent took one lakh rupees from her and got her married to a girl from Bengal. A month ago, after getting married, he had come home with the bride.
On Monday, the Bengal Police along with the local police reached his house and informed about the kidnapping of the minor. Told that the girl’s family has written a case of kidnapping in Bengal. They had got information about bringing the teenager here after getting married through an agent.
After interrogation, the police took the minor bride with them and went to Bengal. SO Anil Kumar Saxena told that the Bengal Police had come on the complaint of kidnapping of the teenager. After recovering the girl, the police took her along. On the statement of the girl, the police did not take any action against Kallu.
