The violence in Delhi’s Jahangirpuri was the result of a well-planned conspiracy and preparations had been made for it in advance. According to the information received from the intelligence department, this violence was planned a week ago, to carry out which stones, ballasts and bricks were collected on the roofs. Accused Ansar is its mastermind.
According to IB sources, on the day of Ram Navami, Ansar had a meeting with about a dozen people near Kushal Chowk. A conspiracy of violence was hatched in this meeting. In which it was decided that the procession of Hanuman Jayanti would not be allowed to pass through Kushal Chowk.

Let us inform that earlier, Delhi Police had also disclosed that this violence was carried out under criminal conspiracy in its initial report submitted to the Ministry of Home Affairs regarding the violence in Jahangirpuri. Giving information about this development in full detail in the report, Delhi Police had also told that what action has been taken so far and what precautionary steps have been taken.
Significantly, on April 16, violence broke out between people of two communities after stone pelting during the procession taken out on Hanuman Jayanti, in which a civilian and eight policemen were injured. The Delhi Police has so far arrested more than 25 people from both the communities in this case and two juveniles have also been detained.
