Sultanpur. of UP Campaign to change the name of Sultanpur Intensified once again. MLA Vinod Singh has recommended the name of Sultanpur to Kushabhavanpur to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. BJP MLA Vinod Singh has written a letter to CM Yogi for this. Chances are it will get stamped. Earlier from Lambhua (Sultanpur) BJP MLA Devmani Dwivedi had first raised this issue in the assembly. He claimed that the ancient name of Sultanpur was Kush. After the MLA raised the issue, the discussion on changing the name of the district started.
BJP MLA Vinod Singh wrote in the letter that Sultanpur district Ayodhya and Prayagraj It is situated in the midst of holy dhams. Sultanpur has important mythological sites like Dhopap Makri Kund, Sita Kund, Bijethua. There is evidence of this fact. Kush, the junior son of Lord Rama, the beloved of all of us, made the district his capital and named it as Kushabhavanpur. Later Khilji Badshah changed the name of the district to Sultanpur for the promotion of his culture.
In today’s democratic era Names like Sultan are knocking in the eyes of the public. Huh. Many times there were mass movements to change this, memorandums were also given. It remains a sensitive issue for the public. Therefore, keeping in mind the public sentiments, the name of Sultanpur of the district should be changed to Bhawanpur. On the other hand, the proposal to rename Firozabad as Chandranagar has been passed by the district panchayat here. The newly elected District Panchayat President Harshita Singh says that there was a demand for a long time from the Zilla Panchayat members and public representatives that the name of Firozabad should be changed to Chandra Nagar, this proposal has been sent to the government.
