The Secondary Education Service Selection Board has released the new cutoff.
The working style of the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Service Selection Board has come under question. Two days after the selection board released the final result of Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) the cutoff had to be changed. In physical education and commerce, the names of many students were not in the selection list even after getting more than the cutoff marks. The students reached the selection board and raised written objection and threatened to go to court. After this the selection board had to change the cutoff overnight.
Earlier the cutoff for the general category was 433, later it was 446.2.
According to the earlier cutoff released by the selection board in the subject of physical education, the cutoff for general category was 433, for OBC 421.4 and for SC 388.4. In the end, when the cutoff was changed after the objection, the cutoff for general was 446.2, for OBC 433.8 and for SC 413.2. Similarly, in commerce, the cut-off for general category was 404 in boys, 392 for OBC and 324 for SC. Later, in the revised cut-off, the cut-off for general was reduced to 442, for OBC to 404 and for SC to 376.
The result of 16 subjects was released late night of 26 October
Competitor Lavkush Saroj, who lives in Soraon, told that he had given the examination in the subject of physical education. His name was out of the selection list when he saw the result. When he took a dig, it came to know that his score is much more than the cut. The next day many students made such complaints on the selection board.

Naval Kishore, Deputy Secretary and Controller of Examinations, Secondary Education Services Selection Board said that there was a typing error only in the cut off. No one is out of Meerut list. In the male and female category, the typist mistyped only due to confusion. It has been rectified.
