The police arrested the son of the deceased and his friend on Thursday in connection with the murder of a farmer in Lucknow’s Banthra police station area on November 7. According to the police, the 18-year-old son had killed the father for the property.
Disclosing the murder of farmer Jagjivan, resident of Gadarian Kheda village of Banthra, the police said that the son is the murderer of the father. According to Banthra Inspector Dhananjay Singh, Jagjivan was slowly selling the entire property due to the addiction of alcohol. A few days ago, he had also made a deal to sell the house. Because of this, his 18-year-old son Shiva aka Golu was very upset. He tried a lot to stop Jagjivan but he was not agreeing.
Hit the head with an ax.
The inspector told that Shiva along with his friend Sandeep from the village planned to kill the father. On the night of 7th November, Jagjivan was sleeping in the verandah after getting drunk. Then Shiva called Sandeep. While sleeping, Sandeep grabbed Jagjivan’s leg and Shiva hit him on the head with an ax. Police recovered the ax and arrested both of them on the behest of Shiva.
