Family mourning after road accident of bike rider in Rohta
A speeding truck running at No Entry in Rohta area of Police Station Sadar of Agra trampled the health worker riding the bike. He died on the spot in the accident. On receiving the information, the villagers started a ruckus on the spot. There is a demand of the people that action should be taken against the policemen who give entry to the vehicle in no entry. The police understood and extinguished the people and sent the body for post-mortem.
According to the information, 24-year-old Mahesh Singh son Murari Lal, resident of Itora village of Thana Malpura, was an OT head in a private hospital in Sanjay Place. Mahesh left home at 8:30 in the morning to go to the hospital. Meanwhile, two trucks coming at high speed near Rohta Punjab National Bank hit him and trampled him. Mahesh died on the spot in the accident.
Villagers created a ruckus
As soon as the information about Mahesh’s death was received, the nearby people and his family reached the spot. Villagers blocked the Agra-Gwalior highway. During this, some people also tried to pelt stones on the vehicles but people stopped them. There was a demand of the people that action should be taken against the policemen who took money out of the truck at no entry.
After getting the information about the accident, other administrative officers including the police station Sadar reached the spot and they opened the jam, explaining to the villagers of taking appropriate action and sent the body for post-mortem. According to CO Sadar Rajiv Kumar, legal action is being taken by registering a case in the matter.
