Looking at the way the number of corona patients is increasing in the city, doctors say that the fourth wave has knocked in the city. In the last 24 hours, 14 cases have been reported in Hehar. Infections have been found from six areas of the city including IIT, Pandu Nagar, Arya Nagar, due to which the half-century of active cases has been completed. There have been a total of 58 cases in the city at the same time. The ever-increasing patients of Corona have increased the concern of the Health Department.

CMO Dr Nepal Singh says that all the patients being found in the city do not have any serious symptoms. No one is infected who needs hospitalization.

IIT campus most affected…
In the last 12 days in the IIT campus, infected are being found daily. Corona was first confirmed in the campus by a faculty who came from abroad, but on seeing this, about 19 have been infected in the entire campus. All have been kept in isolation in a separate hostel. Health department teams are engaged in contact tracing of everyone. Along with this, the teams have also increased surveillance. All the samples being taken from the campus are being sent to the Medical College Lab for sampling.
