Police caught two bike thieves.
Amroha’s Didoli Kotwali police have recovered two bike thieves. Along with this, four bikes were also recovered. Police have also found a pistol-cartridge and knife from them. Both were sent to jail after being produced in court.

Sunil Kumar Malik, in-charge of Didoli Kotwali, told that the police was patrolling at night. Two suspects appeared on a bike near the bridge at Sambhal intersection.
During interrogation, both of them introduced themselves as Aman and Praveen resident of village Tofapur Bhawanipur. Both could not show the documents of the bike, in strict interrogation, the bike was stolen. On this he was searched. During the search, a pistol, two live cartridges and a knife were recovered from them. He was arrested and interrogated. On his behest, three stolen bikes were recovered from the closed school near Bhikanpur Munda on Sambhal road. Which was kept hidden by the accused.

Both told that they used to steal bikes to earn more money without hard work. The bullet recovered from them was stolen from Joya’s Mohan Banquet Hall on the evening of February 10. While a bike was stolen from near a liquor contract in Saidangali. The remaining two bikes were stolen from Amroha two months ago. Both told that with the help of Nasir, who worked as a scrap dealer in Joya, changed the engines of the stolen bikes and got the old engines turned into junk. Kotwali in-charge Sunil Kumar Malik told that four cases each including theft are registered against Aman and Praveen.
