Sunil Kumar Malik, in-charge of Didoli Kotwali, told that the police was patrolling at night. Two suspects appeared on a bike near the bridge at Sambhal intersection.

During interrogation, both of them introduced themselves as Aman and Praveen resident of village Tofapur Bhawanipur. Both could not show the documents of the bike, in strict interrogation, the bike was stolen. On this he was searched. During the search, a pistol, two live cartridges and a knife were recovered from them. He was arrested and interrogated. On his behest, three stolen bikes were recovered from the closed school near Bhikanpur Munda on Sambhal road. Which was kept hidden by the accused.

Both told that they used to steal bikes to earn more money without hard work. The bullet recovered from them was stolen from Joya’s Mohan Banquet Hall on the evening of February 10.
