Suraj Pal died in the accident.
Two bike-borne youths died due to a collision with a dumper near Mulayampur village of Sarai Akil Kotwali area of Kaushambi district. The young men are known to be close friends among themselves. Both of them had come to Kaneli market for some household work. While returning from where he met with an accident. The police have started the post-mortem by taking the bodies of the youths in their possession.

Suraj Pal (29) son Shyam Pal and Rahul (27) son Garilal, residents of Sunwara village of Kaushambi Kotwali area, were close friends. Due to the presence of both of them in front of their house, living together had become a habit of both of them since childhood. Sooraj had studied till 8th and Rahul could study only till 5th. Both of them engaged in business to take care of the expenses of their family. Suraj used to work in a pizza shop in Delhi and Rahul started a tailor’s shop in the village. Suraj’s grandfather’s son was getting married. That’s why he came to the village. As soon as they came to the village, Rahul and Suraj stayed together from morning till evening.

A sand laden dumper hit
Late on Tuesday evening, the family members sent Suraj to bring some goods to the market. As soon as he took out the bike in the sun, Rahul caught up with him. Suraj Rahul was returning from the market when suddenly he hit a dumper laden with sand. Both were badly injured on the spot. On the information of the local people, the police rushed the injured to the district hospital, but both the friends died together. Suraj and Rahul reached the hospital and were declared dead by the doctor. The police have informed the family members about the death of the youth. As soon as the news of death reached the village, mourning spread.

Sarai Akil Police Investigating Officer ML Choudhary said, the dumper and the driver have been taken into custody by the accident site. The injured were brought to the hospital, where they were declared brought dead. Legal action has been started by doing Panchayatnama of the dead body.
